At Craft Tampa, we're redefining waterfront dining. Our elegant 121-foot European-inspired dining vessel offers guests an elevated brunch and dinner experience while cruising through the heart of downtown Tampa.

Docked adjacent to Sparkman Wharf, Craft features an open-concept kitchen, handcrafted cocktails, and chef-driven cuisine served against the backdrop of Tampa's beautiful waterways. As the first dining vessel in the United States with an open kitchen concept—and the only one cooking with gas equipment—Craft delivers an unforgettable culinary experience for both our guests and our crew.

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef who takes pride in creating exceptional desserts and baked goods. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced culinary environment, have a creative eye, and want to be part of a team that delivers memorable guest experiences, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Be Doing

Prepare pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods according to recipes and quality standards.
Measure, mix, shape, and bake products with consistency and attention to detail.
Decorate pastries using a variety of techniques including piping, glazing, icing, and garnishing.
Monitor baking processes to ensure product quality and presentation standards are met.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop seasonal offerings and specialty desserts.
Assist in menu development and stay current on industry trends and techniques.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
Following all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
Properly storing and rotating ingredients to ensure freshness and quality.
Assisting with inventory management and ordering needs.
Supporting the culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences for every guest.

What You'll Bring to the Crew

Minimum of 3 years of pastry, baking, or related culinary experience.
Strong understanding of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert presentation.
Creativity and passion for developing new ideas and menu items.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes consistently.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift, balance, and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
Ability to work aboard a vessel that may be away from dock for several hours at a time.
Ability to work in a tight kitchen environment.
