Full Job Description

Position Title: Mig Fitter Welders

Wage: $25.00-$31.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am-2:00pm

We are seeking Mig Fitter Welders in Germantown, WI.

Mig Fitter Welders Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders
Fit and assemble metal components prior to welding
Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metals as required
Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for fabrication
Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
Operate fabrication equipment, including saws, grinders, drill presses, and other shop tools
Maintain accurate production records and documentation
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Perform routine maintenance on welding and fabrication equipment
Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of materials throughout the shop
Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules

Mig Fitter Welders Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred
5+ years of MIG welding and fitting experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
Proficient in the use of measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, calipers, and levels
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Welding certification preferred but not required
Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift for extended periods
Frequently lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in a manufacturing or fabrication environment with exposure to heat, noise, and welding fumes
Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
Occasional overtime may be required to meet production demands
