Full Job Description

Cincinnati’s growing luxury watch house is hiring its next bench watchmaker — and we’re not building a service mill.

At Luxury Refinery (West Chester, OH), you won’t be employee #66 on a conveyor. You’ll be one of a small, hand-picked team servicing, restoring, and authenticating the world’s finest timepieces — Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Omega, Vacheron Constantin, Cartier, Breitling, and the rare vintage pieces that walk through our door every week.

This is a real seat at the bench in a founder-led shop that’s building something. If you’ve felt like a cog at a larger operation, this is the alternative.

What you’ll do:

Complete service, repair, and overhaul on mechanical and quartz movements across luxury brands
Diagnose, regulate, and case complicated movements — chronographs, perpetuals, vintage calibers
Water-resistance testing, gasket replacement, case and bracelet refurbishment
Partner with authentication on intake — you see pieces start-to-finish, not just service tickets
Help shape bench protocol, parts strategy, and our service division as we scale

What you bring

2+ years bench experience on Swiss luxury movements
WOSTEP, AWCI (CW21), SAWTA, or equivalent — strongly preferred
Comfort on Witschi, Horotec, Bergeon, Elma, and Roxer (same Swiss arsenal the top shops use — all tools provided)
Obsessive attention to detail and genuine love of horology
Discretion — you’ll handle high-value, often one-of-a-kind pieces
Must pass a bench test

$35–$50/hr based on experience and certifications, plus quarterly performance bonus
