Front Desk Receptionist

Fast paced Functional Health Office with friendly staff who thrive on positive energy and team work!

Job Description:

The position will primarily involve sitting at a seated computer workstation for most of the work day, using a computer and telephone to complete tasks related to customer service, scheduling, data entry, authorizations processing and general office procedures. General skills required for the position are multi-tasking, strong typing and computer skills and good customer service. The essential functions of the front office are to answer phone calls from patients, check office voicemail/email, provide great customer service, answering and/or referring patient inquiries, scheduling appointments with the appropriate staff, verifying patient information (including, but not limited to: insurance, authorizations, orders, and demographics), maintaining patient files by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information, collecting patient charges, protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information, authorization processing/entering/modification, and contributing to the general cleanliness and organization of the office.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Managing a multi-line phone system
Greeting, assisting and/or directing visitors, vendors and the general public employing a professional, courteous, and respectful demeanor at all times
Photocopying/Scanning
Managing and distributing incoming leads
Data Entry
Handling all incoming and outgoing mail
Assisting with administrative responsibilities, including supply ordering, tidying up or other responsibilities as required and requested.
Provides occasional travel assistance, calling cabs, communicating arrival, etc.
Assisting with our CRM (Client Relationship Management) system and other data entry as needed.
Displays professionalism and a sense of pride in all aspects of his/her duties and responsibilities
Understands and adheres to all safety and security protocols

Must be Email SuperStar - reviewing, organizing, prioritizing, responding

Preferred Skills:

Experience with face-to-face interaction with customers
Pleasant and professional phone voice with excellent verbal communication skills
Tech Savvy
Reliable
Punctual
Effective time management
Excellent writing skills
Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Google Docs, Dropbox and DocuSign.

Must exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor

Qualifications:
-Experience working as a receptionist preferred
-Excellent customer service
-Excellent follow through and follow-up
-Familiar with using a multi-line phone system
-Demonstrate computer literacy
-Possess excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful conditions
-Ability to read well and comprehend instructions and information.
-Professional personal appearance.
-Ability to work well with customers and present a friendly, helpful attitude at all times.

This a FULL TIME position. Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm; Monday through Friday.

Compensation: hourly rate dependent on experience.

Candidates must be able to pass a criminal/employee eligibility background check.
