Full Job Description

Overview
Banquet Prep Cook and Dishwasher for high end event venue in Mendon, MA. Grand View offers panoramic water views and a spectacular setting for private events which can accommodate 100 to 250 guests comfortably. Our luxurious event space is nestled upon 8 acres of land and has recently undergone an extensive renovation earning its reputation as one of the most beautiful properties in the north-east region with the service and cuisine to match. Dishwasher experience is a plus! That being said, we are willing to train highly motivated candidates looking to work in a positive environment. This is a part-time position with full time hours available in peak season and part time hours available in the off season.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

Safe use of supplies and equipment
Collect used kitchenware from kitchen areas
Load and unload dish washing machines; wash specific items by hand (pots, pans, delicate china and equipment that cannot be machine washed)
Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment properly
Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils
May assist in preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed
Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
Maintain a sanitary work area as required by local health department
Check operation of dish washing machines, promptly report and issues
Remove trash regularly· Wash and sanitize dish area, including surfaces, equipment, trash bins and floors
Perform other duties as assigned
Support events or banquet setups by providing timely food prep assistance and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready

Requirements:

Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Must be at least 16 years old.

Pay will reflect experience and availability.

Hours per week:· based on availability with flexible scheduling

Pay Frequency:· Weekly
