Full Job Description

Small but busy real estate company in search of a Assistant Property Manager. Applicant must be a team player, as ALL aspects of running an office are required. Applicant must be organized, able to multitask, be willing to take direction, receptive to learning, have a clear speaking voice, knowledge of Real Estate office is a plus but not mandatory. Position WILL BE stressful. Experience in property management is mandatory. Working knowledge of the Rentec program a plus!

Hours are Monday-Friday, 10-4, number of required days and time MAY be flexible for right candidate.

Position is an office job and NOT onsite. Properties in Long Island and Pennsylvania.

Position REQUIRES a candidate who is an independent thinker. Someone who can think 3 steps ahead. Someone who is willing to give 100% during their time in the office.

Summary

As an Assistant Property Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the property manager in overseeing the daily operations of residential and commercial properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and efficiently managed. Reporting to senior management, you will utilize your core skills in customer service, organization, and clerical tasks to address tenant needs and maintain property standards. With relevant experience you will contribute to a seamless property management experience, fostering positive relationships with tenants and stakeholders alike.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of property management, ensuring high standards of customer service and tenant satisfaction.
Manage tenant communications, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of property activities and maintenance requests.
Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of properties.
Implement organizational systems for efficient office management and data entry.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
