Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager / Sommelier to lead daily operations while overseeing and elevating our wine program. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who is equally comfortable managing the floor, coaching a team, and guiding guests through a well-curated wine list with confidence and warmth.

You will play a key leadership role in maintaining service standards, driving revenue, supporting staff development, and delivering an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth, efficient service
Lead, train, and mentor FOH team members
Manage scheduling, labor costs, and service standards
Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and resolve guest concerns professionally
Collaborate with management and culinary team on service flow and guest experience
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations
Curate and maintain an evolving wine list aligned with the restaurant’s concept
Manage wine inventory, ordering, pricing, and vendor relationships
Monitor cost control, margins, and beverage profitability
Lead staff wine education and training sessions
Develop wine-focused events, tastings, and promotional initiatives

Qualifications

3–5+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume or fine dining setting
Strong wine knowledge required; WSET, CMS, or equivalent certification preferred
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Strong understanding of P&L, cost controls, and beverage program management
Excellent communication and guest-relations skills
Passion for hospitality, wine, and team development
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
