Full Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead the quality function across a growing manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for quality systems, inspections, corrective action, customer complaint response, process control, and cross-functional improvement efforts that strengthen product quality and operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead day-to-day quality operations including quality personnel, inspections, testing practices, and system compliance.

· Establish and improve quality procedures, inspection methods, control plans, sampling practices, and documentation standards for incoming, in-process, and finished product.

· Manage customer complaints, nonconformances, root cause investigations, corrective actions, and follow-up verification activities.

· Oversee audits of quality systems and manufacturing processes and support compliance with ISO, customer, and internal requirements.

· Partner with production and engineering teams to improve process capability, reduce defects, and strengthen control of key product and process characteristics.

· Develop quality metrics and reporting tools to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive improvement.

· Train and coach employees on quality standards, inspection expectations, documentation, and system requirements.

· Provide technical quality support to internal teams, suppliers, and customers as needed.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

· 5+ years of progressive quality leadership experience in manufacturing.

· Strong knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, process control, root cause analysis, and corrective action.

· Working knowledge of engineering principles related to drawings, tolerances, process capability, and technical problem solving.

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, procedures, and customer requirements.

· Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality, ERP, or reporting systems.

· Experience in ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 environments preferred; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
