Data Entry Clerk

Job Summary

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering and maintaining production data, supporting recordkeeping across the production floor, and auditing batch records for completeness and accuracy. This position works closely with Production, Quality, and Warehouse teams to ensure documentation is current, accurate, organized, and compliant with GMP standards.

Essential Functions

Accurately and promptly enter production data into company systems, including run quantities, downtime, and line output.
Organize and maintain production records in both physical and electronic formats, ensuring documents are complete and easily retrievable.
Update and maintain production forms and logs to reflect current line, process, and SKU requirements.
Audit completed batch records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GMP documentation standards prior to filing or closure.
Identify, document, and escalate discrepancies, errors, or missing information found during batch record audits to the Production Supervisor or Quality team.
Support Warehouse Management System (WMS) data entry in coordination with the warehouse team, including inventory and work order updates.
Maintain accurate and organized filing of production and batch documentation in accordance with document retention procedures.
Communicate data entry errors, trends, or recurring issues to supervision to support continuous improvement.
Follow all safety, GMP, and quality procedures while working on the production and warehouse floor.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Operations team.

Position Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year of data entry, administrative, or recordkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred; willingness to learn required.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Skills and Abilities

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with ERP or WMS systems is a plus.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple documents and deadlines.
Ability to work independently, follow written procedures, and maintain confidentiality of production data.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to identify and report documentation discrepancies and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work in a production and warehouse environment while following established safety and quality procedures.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
