Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Certified Personal Trainer to inspire and guide clients on their fitness journeys. In this dynamic role, you will design personalized workout plans, deliver engaging coaching sessions, and foster a motivating environment that encourages clients to achieve their health and fitness goals. Your expertise in biomechanics, physiology, and nutrition will empower clients to unlock their full potential while ensuring safety through proper manual handling, first aid, and CPR procedures. Responsibilities

Develop customized workout programs tailored to individual client needs, goals, and fitness levels
Lead engaging coaching sessions that motivate clients to push their limits safely and effectively
Provide expert advice on biomechanics, body mechanics, and nutrition to optimize performance and health outcomes
Maintain excellent client communication and rapport building to foster trust and long-term engagement
Ensure safety by applying proper manual handling techniques and adhering to first aid and CPR protocols when necessary
Promote fitness industry services such as group fitness classes, personal training packages, and health club memberships
Keep detailed records of client progress, session notes, and program adjustments to track improvements over time

Requirements

Certification as a Personal Trainer from an accredited organization; current CPR/AED certification required
Proven experience in sports coaching, personal training, or fitness instruction within a health club or gym environment
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, biomechanics, and body mechanics relevant to exercise programming
Ability to design effective fitness programs that incorporate strength training, heavy lifting, functional movement, and group fitness activities
Excellent client communication skills with a focus on motivation and customer service excellence
Experience teaching physical education or coaching sports is highly desirable
Knowledge of nutrition principles to support holistic health guidance
Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper form and technique
Valid liability insurance coverage for personal training activities is preferred
Familiarity with fitness sales strategies to promote services and increase client engagement
Experience working in the fitness industry or health club setting is advantageous
