Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Assisted Living Administrator to lead and oversee the daily operations of our assisted living community. This vital role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and delivering exceptional resident care. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in long-term care or assisted living environments, and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for seniors. As an Assisted Living Administrator, you will be the driving force behind creating a safe, welcoming, and well-managed community where residents thrive and feel valued.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise care facility teams, including nursing staff, caregivers, and administrative personnel to ensure smooth daily operations.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to residents’ needs.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal long-term care regulations, health policies, and safety standards.
Oversee financial management activities such as budgeting, billing, and healthcare financial management to maintain operational efficiency.
Manage resident relations by addressing concerns related to resident’s health, safety, or well-being with professionalism and empathy.
Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration, care plans, incident reports, and regulatory compliance records using Microsoft Office tools.
Coordinate with healthcare providers for resident assessments and ensure proper medication administration and health monitoring.
Facilitate staff training on disability services, dementia care techniques, and regulatory updates to promote continuous improvement.

Skills

Specific digital software system (ECP eMAR) experience highly valued.
Proven management experience in assisted living facilities or nursing home administration with supervisory responsibilities.
Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations, health regulation policies, and compliance standards.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring specialized memory or dementia care.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
Excellent financial acumen including budgeting, financial management, and healthcare financial oversight.
Deep understanding of resident-centered care approach.
Ability to navigate complex disability services requirements while maintaining high standards of resident safety and satisfaction.
