Full Job Description

Position Overview

Synapses IOM is seeking a highly organized, process-minded associate to support our healthcare business operations. This role will play a vital part in supporting the billing, clinical, and administrative teams. There is a strong emphasis on process coordination, documentation accuracy, and operational follow-through. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, solution-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare business environment. Comprehensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Support the heart of our operations by ensuring that data, documentation, and submissions are processed thoughtfully, accurately, and always on time.
Manage internal business operations through scheduling, calendar coordination, and email management across multiple teams.
Organize and streamline office workflows, improve documentation tracking, and assist with business process implementations.
Prepare and submit invoice and/or claims and associated documentation to the appropriate portals for arbitration, billing, or HR needs.
Follow up with internal and external parties to ensure timely completion of business-critical tasks.
Maintain detailed documentation to support follow-ups, reporting, and next steps in operational workflows.
Monitor and maintain office operations including correspondence management, clerical assignment tracking, and operational compliance checks.
Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines and federal and state regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple operational tasks in a dynamic work environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
U.S. Work Authorization required.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
