Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking line cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations while supporting food preparation tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with experience in various kitchen settings such as restaurants, hotels, or catering services.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment through efficient washing and sanitizing processes.
Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients for various dishes.
Support the culinary team during peak hours by ensuring that the kitchen remains organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Buss tables and clear away used dishes to maintain a tidy dining environment for guests.
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.
Participate in cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and general upkeep of the kitchen area.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during service periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, including roles such as dishwasher, food prep, or similar positions.
Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
Experience in banquet service or catering is a plus.
Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to maintain high standards of hygiene.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving others in the hospitality industry.
