Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Dental Office Manager with a strong background in dental practice operations and healthcare management. In this dynamic role, you will oversee the daily functions of a busy dental clinic, ensuring smooth administrative workflows, exceptional patient care, and compliance with healthcare regulations. Your leadership will drive team performance, optimize office efficiency, and uphold the highest standards of patient service. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead a thriving dental practice with energy and expertise.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of dental office operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and workflow coordination to maximize productivity and patient satisfaction
Oversee financial management tasks such as budgeting, billing, coding, collections, and expense control to ensure fiscal health of the practice
Supervise administrative staff and dental team members, providing guidance on human resources policies, performance evaluations, and team development
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, JCAHO standards, and state/federal health policies while maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
Utilize dental-specific EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix and or Denticon for patient management, appointment scheduling, billing, and record keeping
Monitor practice performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Coordinate with healthcare providers on utilization management, medical billing procedures, and managed care protocols to optimize patient outcomes and revenue streams

Skills

Extensive experience managing a dental office or healthcare practice with proficiency in medical office management systems such as Dentrix and or Denticon
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance, JCAHO standards, and health policy policies
Proven supervisory experience leading healthcare teams in fast-paced environments with excellent managerial communication skills
Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, medical billing, and revenue cycle management
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (Electronic Health Records) and patient management software to streamline clinical workflows
Ability to oversee medical administrative support functions such as medical records handling, coding accuracy, and compliance documentation
Knowledge of dental clinic operations combined with acute care experience preferred for managing complex patient cases effectively
Skilled in customer service with a focus on delivering exceptional patient experiences while maintaining operational excellence
Competence in managing healthcare staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and HR policies related to medical practice management
