Summary:

The Commercial Credit Analyst III reviews credit data to evaluate complex commercial real estate and small business loans in order to assist in approving or denying applications. The Analyst analyzes sources of financial information, such as financial statements, credit bureau reports and cash flows to determine potential risk and profitability of loan. This job prepares reports for loan officers in response to new and additional credit proposals.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA in a relevant field) or a minimum of eight years directly related experience required
Minimum four years of credit analysis experience required
Knowledge of business and personal tax returns required
Excellent analytical skills for analyzing profit and loss statements and balance sheets

Job Responsibilities:

Review credit data such as business and personal tax returns, financial statements; tenant leases, credit reports and global cash flows
Perform credit memo with borrower and global debt service calculations for loan approval
Support management team in performing annual commercial loan reviews.
Approve or decline loans following underwriting review
Conduct site visits to inspect the property of commercial real estate businesses
Provide input on opportunities to improve workflow and efficiency
Provide guidance to the Business Development Officer’s on loans in the Business Lending pipeline or loans that need a prescreen before submission and complex
Work with Business Development Officers throughout the underwriting process.
Prepare commitment letter for approved commercial mortgage loans
Review appraisals and environmental reports, discuss remediation or other environmental issues with borrower
Coordinate with closing attorney’s office on commercial loans in closing status
Perform other duties as needed upon request from immediate Supervisor

The good faith range for this position is $82,650 - $99,150 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.

All candidates will be subject to a background check, credit check, and drug test to determine employment eligibility.
