Corporate Accountant / Office Manager

Location: Saint Michael, MN 55376
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Salary: $85,000–$105,000 per year

Position Summary

Growing tech company seeking an experienced Office Manager / Corporate Accountant to manage accounting, HR, and daily office operations for multiple affiliated companies. This role works closely with ownership and requires strong organization, accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently in a fast moving environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain accounting records for multiple companies using QuickBooks Desktop.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and month-end close.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, intercompany accounts, and balance-sheet accounts.
Prepare financial reports and sales/use-tax filings and respond to audit requests.
Maintain employee records, timekeeping, attendance, and paid-time-off records.
Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, background checks, benefits, and employee separations.
Support employee relations, HR documentation, and policy administration.
Oversee office procedures, purchasing, vendors, inventory, and company records.
Assist ownership with budgeting, reporting, staffing, and special projects as needed to meet business needs.

Qualifications

Three or more years of accounting, office-management, and HR experience.
Experience handling accounting for multiple companies.
Strong knowledge of reconciliations, journal entries, general-ledger accounting, and use tax.
QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel experience strongly preferred.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, HR, or a related field preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
