Position Overview:

Are you a dedicated, detail-oriented nurse with a passion for ensuring top-quality care? Best of Care is seeking a Supervisory Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee the care provided by our team of personal care workers, including home health aides and certified nursing assistants. In this role, you’ll ensure that our clients receive the best possible care through regular assessments, training, and supervision. If you have a love for clinical oversight, client advocacy, and training, this role could be a great fit!

As a Supervisory RN, you’ll be responsible for performing client assessments, orienting new aides, and conducting regular supervisory visits to ensure the quality of care. Your expertise will ensure that our care staff provides consistent, compassionate service.

Key Responsibilities:

· Client Advocate: Perform initial assessments for new clients, creating individualized care plans for our home health aides to follow.

· Caregiver Supervision: Complete supervisory visits at least every 90 days to observe and evaluate personal care workers, ensuring high standards of care.

· Community Liaison & Business Growth: Act as a liaison between Best of Care and local healthcare providers, elder services, and community organizations to strengthen relationships, generate new referrals, and contribute to the growth of the business.

· Client Monitoring: Regularly assess clients to ensure that their care plans are up-to-date and meet their evolving needs.

· Caregiver Development: Provide ongoing support and mentorship to caregivers, helping them grow and develop their own skill sets through training, performance feedback, and skill assessments to ensure they continue to deliver the highest level of care.

· Skills Evaluator: Conduct skill evaluations for new hires and on an as-needed basis to ensure that all aides meet competency standards.

· Training Mentor: Conduct in-person orientation for new home health aides on their first day of service, introducing them to the client and care plan.

· Medication Oversight: Ensure that medications are administered properly and in accordance with each client’s care plan.

What You’ll Bring to Best of Care:

A valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license and at least 1 year of clinical experience
Strong communication skills, time management expertise, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
A strong understanding of home care policies, HIPAA, and client privacy
A negative TB test within the last year and a recent physical exam
Proficiency with computers, email, and Microsoft Office is essential

Minimum Requirements and Abilities Required:

Registered Nurse (RN) with an active Massachusetts license
At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a home care setting
Familiarity with Hoyer Lift operation and oxygen tank use is a plus
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and an ability to manage a wide variety of tasks and personalities
