Floral & Events Assistant

Part-Time

Join an Established Floral & Event Design Company

We're looking for an energetic, dependable, and adaptable individual to become an essential part of our growing team.

This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, and takes pride in helping a business operate at a high level. No two days are the same, and we're looking for someone who enjoys stepping in wherever they're needed with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

You'll work alongside our design team supporting daily operations, customer experience, event preparation, merchandising, organization, and behind-the-scenes logistics that help keep everything running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist walk-in customers.
Answer phones and guide customers through floral selections and ordering.
Process flower shipments and prepare fresh product.
Assist with floral production and event preparation.
Prepare containers, packaging, ribbons, cards, and supplies.
Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked workspace.
Clean floral buckets, coolers, work areas, and retail displays.
Merchandise seasonal products and retail displays.
Prepare materials for workshops and special events.
Assist with photography, social media content, and marketing projects.
Help update seasonal signage, flyers, and promotional materials.
Complete local errands and occasional deliveries when needed.
Assist with inventory organization and restocking.
Jump in wherever needed to support the team and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications/Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:

Florist or Floral Design
Retail
Hospitality
Event Industry
Customer Service
Visual Merchandising
Wedding or Event Assistance

Floral experience is a plus but not required. We are happy to train someone with the right attitude, creativity, and work ethic.

Skills & Attributes

We're looking for someone who is:

Creative with an eye for presentation and merchandising.
Flexible and willing to jump into a variety of tasks.

Maintains professionalism and composure during busy seasons and high-demand periods.

Compensation

Starting pay: $19–21 per hour, based on experience.
Approximately 10–25 hours per week to start.
Additional hours available during holidays, weddings, and event season.
Paid training.
