Description:

Meet Boston (formerly GBCVB) is seeking a Partnership Marketing CRM Coordinator to act as the liaison between our organization and our partners. In this position, you will be responsible for all aspects of partnership, from serving as the first point of contact for partnership related questions to organizing events to recruit new partners. Maintaining records, tracking partnership figures, and coordinating with the accounting department regarding the payment of partnership fees, are key elements of this position. To be successful as a partnership coordinator you should be able to keep partnership numbers up and ensure partner satisfaction. Ultimately, an excellent partnership coordinator should be an outstanding communicator with a talent for building strong relationships between partners and the organization. The maximization and enhancement of the effectiveness and accuracy of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, is crucial so you will play an integral role and be responsible for regular report analysis and maintenance of multiple database systems. This position reports to the Director of Partnership and interacts with the marketing team.

The apprenticeship opportunity is 16 weeks in duration, where the first rotation takes place at Meet Boston in this role, then second and third rotations (4 weeks each in length) are with Partner organizations, in similar/related roles.

Responsibilities include

Handling all questions, information requests, and complaints regarding partnership
Processing partnership applications, renewals, and resignations
Onboarding new partners’ orientation
Maintaining and updating partnership records
Assisting with partner communication activities
Collecting data, tracking partnership statistics, and preparing reports
Developing and implementing strategies to recruit new partners
Coordinating with the accounting department to track partnership revenue
Preparing partnership marketing materials
Organizing events and activities for existing and prospective partners
Maintaining and enhancing the effectiveness and accuracy of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform
Regularly report analysis and maintenance of multiple database systems
Creating and providing weekly and monthly production reports as requested
Creating departmental reports as requested
Providing training for new staff on effective CRM use
Developing and maintaining training materials

Requirements:

College degree in Tourism/Hospitality or Business Administration is preferred not required
Experience of CRM interaction, time spent collecting, analyzing, and submitting statistical data via a CRM platform is a plus
Previous experience in partner management, sales, or recruitment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and general knowledge of business systems
Ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams in a collaborative, professional environment
Self-motivated, able to manage complex projects to timely completion ability to think creatively and take initiative
Highly organized

Job Type

Full-time, Monday to Friday; some weekend and evening work required.
