Full Job Description

We are seeking clinicians to provide in-person services at our Central Phoenix (7301 N. 16th St.) and North Phoenix (3240 E. Union Hills Dr.) locations. *Weekend in-person availability on both Saturdays and Sundays is needed*. Additional days and hours are available for those interested in expanding their schedule and caseload.

Overview
AZ Holistic Approach (AHA) was founded to advance the way mental health is treated. Our mission is to provide treatment for mental health related issues by incorporating physical and nutritional wellness into psychotherapy practices and encouraging positive lifestyle changes for clients.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, families, and couples, focusing on promoting mental wellness and addressing behavioral health issues. This role involves working with diverse populations, utilizing evidence-based practices to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.

As a 1099 contractor, all administrative tasks will be completed for you. Providers will be responsible for being present at their scheduled appointment times (office and virtual).

Providers will have the flexibility to build a caseload that fits their goals and availability, with opportunities to grow beyond a minimum expectation of 10 client hours per week. AZBBHE supervision will be offered to associate-level staff seeking independent licensure.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic interventions using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and behavior management techniques.
Facilitate telehealth sessions as needed, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
Maintain accurate medical documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with organizational policies.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients.
Engage in case management activities, coordinating resources and support services for clients and their families.
Offer adult, geriatric, child/family counseling sessions to address developmental and emotional challenges.
Stay informed about current best practices in behavioral health and participate in ongoing professional development.

Experience

A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
Valid licensure (LPC/LAC, LCSW/LMSW, LMFT/LAMFT) as a Mental Health Therapist or equivalent certification is required.
CPR certification required.
Limited Liability Insurance required.
Experience and training in treating trauma is highly desirable.
Experience practicing or teaching yoga is highly desirable.
Experience in telehealth services is highly desirable.
Proficiency in medical documentation practices and familiarity with ICD-9 coding is a plus.
Previous experience in outpatient clinical settings is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to manage diverse behavioral health issues effectively.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
