Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Associate / Keyholder for a full-time position in <LOCATION>. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in driving sales, managing store operations, and providing exceptional customer service. This role offers leadership opportunities and requires a proactive approach to team management, inventory control, and store merchandising. As a keyholder, you will support the store’s daily functions, ensuring smooth operations and a welcoming environment for customers and staff alike.

Duties

Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, utilizing excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
Assist with employee orientation, training, and development to foster a motivated sales team
Manage daily store operations including opening and closing procedures as a keyholder
Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential
Handle POS transactions, cash handling, cashiering, and retail math accurately
Conduct interviewing and recruiting of new team members to build a strong sales force
Manage payroll, bookkeeping, and other administrative tasks related to store management
Implement pricing strategies and participate in purchasing decisions to optimize profitability
Supervise staff scheduling, shift management, and ensure adherence to company policies
Coordinate marketing efforts and promotional activities to increase store visibility
Monitor sales performance and develop strategies for achieving sales goals
Maintain organized stockrooms and ensure inventory control measures are followed

Experience

Proven management experience in retail sales or store management with supervisory responsibilities
Strong background in negotiation, sales management, and customer service excellence
Experience with inventory management systems, POS systems, and retail software tools
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in training & development, team supervision, and employee orientation
Familiarity with retail math, pricing strategies, merchandising techniques, and budgeting processes
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
Prior experience in recruiting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, or administrative roles is preferred
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong communication skills coupled with phone etiquette proficiency
