Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Territory Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across designated regions. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding market share, building strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will inspire your team and motivate clients to achieve their goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by delivering exceptional service, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies within your territory.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to meet or exceed regional targets, focusing on customer acquisition and retention.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs to provide tailored solutions that promote upselling and increased sales volume.
Conduct route driving to visit clients, assess their needs, and deliver products or services efficiently while maintaining a focus on safety and compliance.
Utilize strong organizational skills to manage schedules, route planning, and inventory levels for maximum efficiency.
Perform merchandising activities by setting up displays, ensuring product availability, and maintaining brand standards at client locations.
Apply pricing strategies effectively to optimize profit margins while remaining competitive in the marketplace.
Engage in heavy lifting when handling product deliveries or stock replenishments, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills when presenting products, negotiating deals, and resolving customer concerns promptly.
Leverage military experience or discipline to maintain high standards of professionalism, punctuality, and operational excellence in all activities.

Requirements

Proven experience in sales or customer service roles with a focus on territory management or route driving.
Strong understanding of pricing strategies, upselling techniques, and merchandising principles.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to perform commercial driving duties as needed.
Excellent math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and profit margins accurately.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during product handling or delivery tasks.
Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and routes efficiently.
Effective communication skills for engaging with clients and team members alike.
Experience with route driving and familiarity with local geography is highly desirable.
