Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Automotive Parts Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for customers seeking automotive parts and accessories, providing expert guidance and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. Your enthusiasm and knowledge will drive sales, support vehicle maintenance needs, and contribute to our dealership’s reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories based on their vehicle needs.
Maintain accurate inventory control using dealership management systems (CMMS) and POS (Point of Sale) software.
Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit card payments, and cash handling procedures with professionalism.
Provide technical advice on automotive diagnostics, repair, and service procedures to customers and technicians.
Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and fulfilling order requests promptly.
Support vehicle maintenance activities by understanding automotive repair processes and parts requirements.
Communicate effectively with customers via phone etiquette, ensuring their questions are answered clearly and confidently.

Skills

Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair, and service processes.
Excellent negotiation skills to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Proficiency in inventory management systems (CMMS), Microsoft Excel, retail math, and order fulfillment procedures.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
Experience with dealership operations such as POS systems, inventory control, stocking, and cashiering.
Exceptional customer service skills combined with effective communication skills to build lasting relationships.
