The last review that was written did not get approved. Must have been because I mentioned names, dates, and times? This time, names will not be mentioned. Indeed, you are employees last-ditch effort to expose what goes on at Bausch Greenville.

I have been employed here for a long while and will just say this, having high hopes to retire here, has been cut short due to the new supervisor in the APA. He loves to watch the cameras so much, that even on his days off he's watching them from home.

He has demoted, fired and written people up for far less than what he does himself. He broke SOP and caused production to stop on a certain line as he contaminated/broke sterility in the entire APA. Front office covered it up. They say there's a whistleblowing protection law, but if you call corporate, they will match the voice to the employee that called with a complaint and a bulls-eye is tattooed on them.

Though the pay, health benefits, and vacation are awesome, it is still not worth having the fear, that each day could be your last. Many of us feel the same way and are looking for other employment as this is being written. Little does the company know, because of the new supervisor and the front office that covers up his countless mistakes, Bausch Greenville is in for a rude awakening with the mass exodus about to happen. No job fair will do the company any good either!

To the employee for Indeed that reads this, please know you are our only hope for this to get out! Many efforts have been made to no avail. In no way, shape or form am I a disgruntled employee, I'm just one of many without a voice!

Working in the APA isn't for everyone, you'll be fully gowned covered from head to toe for 6-10 hours each day. The actual jobs are easy, we're just paid for the inconvenience of the gown and practicing aseptic technique. They give lots of time off, but call in and use one of the sick days that they give to you and it goes against your review the next year, you will also have to use a bunch of your days for the biannual shutdowns each year. The place was amazing when I first joined, management has changed since and it has gone downhill quickly. It's become a buddy system, if you aren't in with the right group then your future prospects are extremely limited.  If you do happen to get in with the right group and move up, congratulations, you've got it made, look forward to chilling in the office or walking around talking all night.  Any and all praise or gratitude is pure lip service and this is most evident when the discussion points towards the financial side. If you come in every day, give 150% and be absolutely perfect in your role they will give you a chance to win a $150 gift card, some squishy eyeball toys, or maybe even a diary. Whatever salary you go in at is pretty close to where you are going stay, their performance management system has enough built in clauses to ensure that. When you keep seeing the same jobs posted and they are paying the kind of money that B&L is paying it should set off some alarms. 

I worked for this company for nearly 4 years. They care about the bottom line more than the safety and happiness of employees. They claim that they offer career paths, but there is hardly any opportunity for promotion or development. Management is incompetent and takes weeks to address and issues or questions you may have. This company will use any excuse to reprimand you, no matter how satisfactory your work may be (I was denied a raise and a bonus 2 years in a row for the same issue, despite being one of the most productive members of my team). I have witnessed them pay a woman a great deal less than a man in the same position (even though she trained him). Company is disorganized and goes through constant changes without disseminating relevant information to employees. In my time there I constantly felt like they were watching over my shoulder. They are understaffed and the existing staff is expected to pick up the slack, being given additional responsibilities for no extra pay. They would not allow employees to continue working from home during the pandemic, despite several employees testing positive for COVID-19. You will be reprimanded for speaking your mind. Horrible corporate culture. I regret working for them for so long. 

In my opinion communication within the company, non existant. And unlike what another person said the jobs are not internal anymore. Time served is  not rewarded or recognized. Once hired you cannot move for 18months if they allow you to move at all. It is a company of favoritism, they do what they want and if they want you in a position they will put you there but if they dont you will not advance. It can take anywhere from 4 months to a year to get hired if at all. Some temporary workers get run off.  The company Bausch and Lomb used to be highly regarded as a top place to work in this area but since Valeant has taken over it has gone down hill. Plenty of overtime, be prepared to work mostly every weekend, be prepared to be uprooted at any time, change your job title, change your days worked and hours whenever they see fit without any explanation.All upper management lies to their employees and point fingers at other management to blame, that is why so many upper management have either been fired or quit in such a short time. the only thing I can say positive is the pay is decent for those who get hired, for the temporary people it is no better than working at McDonalds. It is as someone said a hostile environment because workers are treated so poorly without respect.

Coworkers are great. That's pretty much the only good thing I can tell about this place. Management (especially the CEO) treats contract workers very POORLY, especially if you're international. International workers are pretty much guaranteed to never get a full time position (unless you have PhD). Management does not appreciate the work of employees. You can end up working here for years until you get converted. Right now there's a hiring freeze so it will take time to get converted (unless you have PhD then you get hired full time ... eventhough they say they're havnig hiring freeze). We never get acknowledged by CEO and he always pretend he doensn't see us (again, unless you have PhD then he knows you). We aren't sure if he knows our names. People are overloaded with work. Problems about the toxic work environment have been brought up to management, but nothing has been done to improve the situation. They always say they want to improve employees' satisfaction but they truth is they don't want to put the work into it. Overall, AVOID this place if you can, unless you just want great coworkers and don't care about anything else. You're better off somewhere else. But it's a good place to start for an entry level.

They have great Products with great history.  However, the company ownership has changed a few times. Existing senior management In Tampa Is mostly long timers with a few newbies.  They are resistant to change for improvement. Directors and executive directors operate with fear and intimidation  and this pattern of operation propagate down.  Lots of anxiety, fear and anger.  I have never seen more people getting sick and ill in one workplace before.  Lots of stressed people who eventually get sick (physically with ailments and medical conditions).   When they have facility or manufacturing problems, instead of truly finding the root cause and fixing them, they try to find the cheapest solution that can evade the FDA.  They hid things from the FDA when they can. 
Only good to work there if you have a manager that can watch your back and you really have no other choice to stay in this area.  I worked there as a Manager.  I would stay away. 

Selling Medical Skin Rejuvenation products to top Dermatologists and Plastic Surgeons for post procedure, wound healing, skin rejuvenation, age defense, and recovery after procedures in an office setting, hospital, and facilities. I was responsible for the development of new physician exclusive post procedure line.  Established policies and procedures for new physician exclusive skin care line.  Partnering with facilities in a consultative manner to move through product.  Responsible for the marketing programs, daily specials, and promotional events for facilities and offices for sell through.  High level of interaction with Derms and Plastics to develop long- term relationships.  Included direct sales to doctors and department heads in facility and offices.  B to B sales where doctors bought the product from me wholesale and sold it Retail in the office, hospital, or facility

What is the best part of working at the company?
A Well recognized company when I joined a Talent pool with industry well recognized.  But during the transition Bausch got rid of them and did not recognize their contribution to the legacy and the reputation the company had built.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Only few people hold the power, no promotion for 16 years, forget about career advancement, no matter how hard you work, your manager will find one reason to downgrade your performance rating to needs improvement

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
No teamwork, people can push you to move forward, very stressful moments  in fire fighting, no resources, more  and more responsibilities and workload but no appreciation and compensation

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
stressful, tiring, always underwater, people know how to throw the workload on you

A typical day in the territory started fairly early, sometimes at 7:00-7:30 if I had scheduled a breakfast with a healthcare provider.   I really focused on the quality of the sales calls and conversations with the healthcare providers.   However, I still did my best to make 8 to 12 calls everyday.   This position also included calling on pharmacies to make sure they had our savings cards and Knew how to use them.   The hardest part of my job was reminding both healthcare providers and pharmacies that the benefits of our branded medications are especially important for some patients.  That requires them changing habits from prescribing and filling generic medication.  The most enjoyable part of the job was the relationships with the healthcare providers and their staff.   I also enjoy being out in the field everyday.

Any experienced mechanic, don't bother working here. You will be nothing more than an operator 90% of the time. Line leads will treat you like garbage, and so will anybody else that the company considers "above" you. You are not a part of maintenance here, you are at the control of production, line leads, group leads, team leads..etc. So be prepared to have a dozen people that have no clue telling you what to do as a mechanic....I mean operator. Your experience and background means nothing here, you will setup, and operate the equipment....that is it. Most of your shift will be putting paper onto the machine. If your the type that enjoys redundant tasks and being pushed around, and treated like dirt...this is the job for you.
