The last 12-18 months have highlighted the significant divide in the company's organizations, and teams, which are blatantly apparent to even the most hopeful & naive new hire...Day-to-day occurrences and role responsibilities included many things that made little to no sense, for seemingly no specific cause or reason, even if the background or purpose was sought for better clarity and execution of functions. Makes following policies, enforcing compliance, and knowing what is important or not almost impossible. Everyone is just as lost, the difference is some get paid a lot more than others to care or ignore the issues and have everyone working themselves into the ground with a standard workload for each person enough to divvy up across 5 people. I truly hope things have improved recently, especially for lower-level associates & new hires, so they might be spared from having a similar traumatic and troubling experience similar to what I had before being (wrongfully) laid off. 

The company has made quite a turnaround from its downfall as Valeant.    They have a great lineup of products with more coming.  

The Accounts Payable department has a toxic work environment.   Management gives promotions and additional responsibilities only to those they favor or have personal connections with.  Prior experience is hardly considered for promotions as less qualified people have been given more opportunities than those who came in with years of experience.   People have been treated poorly and management in this department has not been held accountable no matter how many people have complained to HR.  Can't speak for other departments but I suggest staying away from A/P

They use the people, everything is rush, they don’t care how much and hard you are working, and if you make a mistake, they write up, and don’t help you. A lot of people left  and keep hiring people, and you have to trained the new person and do your work at the same time and if don’t hurry up to trained the person and finish your work on time, they take you out of the area, and the trained is only 8hr. They think that the person will learn  everything in 8hr. The sad part is for the new person if the after the trained, they will put you to work in something completely different that you learned, that place is crazy.

I enjoyed my time here very much.  Definitely interesting times during the Valeant days.  Company is definitely now on more solid footing. Loved the majority of the people that I worked with.

I was disappointed as to how it ended out of the blue for me.  Obviously more changes were coming to the IT organization and alas they were not well communicated.

IT Management is very weak and disorganized and I would not recommend this company.  Bausch Health, formerly Valiant Pharma has gone through many management changes from upper levels and this includes the IT department.  There is no structure or accountability and management in IT is very weak.  IT has a bad reputation within the business units of the company and it is not a very positive work environment, even though some of the people are nice.

Evaluated key competitive pharmaceutical companies involved in the glaucoma market on a five-point analysis. Compiled market trends and a detailed PowerPoint presentation for management on predominant and competitive medications for glaucoma patients. Also supported significant marketing campaigns to differentiate our product from others.

It management does not like older staff members. They are not team players and tend to only care for themselves. The company is outsourcing the staff. It is very hard to work in this nasty environment. They are not team players

Been here a few years.  Overall a great experience, until this year.  Ever since the B&L split the culture has suffered.  Goals are out of reach for most and the leadership does not demonstrate any empathy for the people that work here.   Hope things change soon for the better as this was, and could still be, a good place to work.

They will do everything they can do take care of you (within reason). I love working for them. They are going through lots of changes trying to get their employees more pay and more benefits across the board. 
The co-workers were very friendly.

Would advise working here unless you are just starting career and need a job to get into pharma. This company doesn't value the team and what each individual employee brings to the table.
