Faspsych is advertised as a locum's company; however, other than connecting you to a prospective employer they do not offer any other type of service to support or engage you in meaningful collaboration with them. Once you interview with your potential employer you are left on your own. They charge a large amount to clients and keep a fair amount of it leaving you the provider with a smaller hourly wage. 
Communication with them is very frustrating.  If they find use for you then they will respond to emails or your phone calls. Otherwise there is no reason for them to be involved in your "assignment". As long as you are fulfilling your assignment and they are making some profit off of your work. You generally won’t hear from them.

They should be considered more of a one-time role in your potential job match than the ongoing role in your contract.  
 IT department is confusing  and also nonresponsive.

There are many other locums' companies that are truly interested in setting you up for success and maintaining success in your work assignment and don't just use you.

Faspsych does not communicate or seem to vet the needs of their clients well before matching you with a potential job.  I have had a few assignments through them and there was always a problem with communications.  They do not assist you with licensure, DEA or anything other than set up interviews for you,  yet they take  a significant portion of your salary.  A few of the assignments I have accepted were not what they were advertised to be so be careful.  
There are better locums companies out there that genuinely care about customer service to you and the client.  

What is the best part of working at the company?
Credentialing is simplified and accountability to the provider for support and timely communication is the best.

LOW - not being able to take on more work.  

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Collegial, professional and generous 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
8 hours of patient care, with a lunch hour.  Great I.T. support

It isn’t a bad a place to work, however there isn’t much room for advancement unless someone quits. The benefits are mediocre, but you do get 8 holidays and a personal day. It’s a great starter job to gain the experience needed to advance elsewhere. They don’t make you feel bad for being sick or needing time off for appointments. 

I practice Telehealth through Faspsych and this company has it together! Good source of clients, with supportive management, caring, compassionate staff! Easy to navigate EHR and a an awesome scheduling team!!!

Pay is very good, but scheduling is never organized. You can work for months and months and then drop off the schedule, no notice. Be prepared for that possibility. Other than that, it’s great. I feel like I get to use all of my skills everyday with my population-when I work. 

They create a culture where communication is one way. If they’ve determined your services are not needed they don’t communicate that with you. They don’t return your calls, you’re taken off the schedule without notice. 

Excellent salary and excellent bosses who were supportive, and a pleasure to work for. The only reason I left is because I needed to find employment where I received health insurance benefits.

The pay is good, when you can actually work. There are long periods of just waiting for your next assignment, with VERY poor communication from management. 

The management is very flexible and understanding. Genuinely care about their employees. However, if you work remotely there is no chance of promotion which has been disappointing  .
