This fine organization is a truly world-class sight, like a prize-winning show dog, ruthlessly focused on its core mission: makin' sure the stakeholders get their due. From my time on the payroll, I learned a thing or two about their dedication to squeezin' every last drop of financial goodness and growin' folks up fast. The folks in charge operate with a clarity you could use to split a hair, seein' the bottom line as the whole doggone reason for bein'. Their smart move to set up a globally distributed accounting function—a true testament to their thrift and good sense—keeps things runnin' lean as a greyhound. And they only use contractors that they are personally associated with to keep everything closely related regardless of being overseas. This commitment to watchin' the pennies ain't just a rule; it's deep in their bones, like a sweet tea recipe, and it shows up everywhere.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
One of the prettiest parts is the accelerated career development track. They don't dilly-dally; they hand the reins to high-potential folks, sometimes before their britches are even broken in. This makes for a lively, high-steppin' environment where talent never sits still. Now, this ain't for the faint of heart—it asks for a heapin' helpin' of hustle—but it shows a philosophy that just believes in movin' forward and learnin' the ropes by doin'. The culture inside is best described as focused on gettin' the job done. They hold a high bar, which puts the heat on folks, and while some might find that a touch too much, it’s what keeps the business pointed toward the promised land of profits. Management uses straight-shooter communication to make sure teams are workin' at peak capacity, pushin' hard even when the old ways might tell them to slow down. That grit is what sets 'em apart and makes sure their doctor partners get the very best they can offer.

The comin' and goin' of folks, while noticed now and again, is just the natural way of a highly selective proving ground. It’s a real test of spirit and backbone. For those who can stand the fire and are singular-minded about puttin' money in the till, this company offers an experience you won't soon forget, even if it’s just for a season. I'd give my word on this company to ambitious professionals lookin' to run flat-out and contribute to a truly profit-drivin' enterprise. A Model of Modern Corporate Discipline.

Accounting professionals should approach this opportunity with caution and ask very specific questions before accepting a role.

This review reflects my personal experience within the accounting organization. Following a period of rapid hiring in 2021 after a private equity acquisition, the company moved quickly into restructuring that included large layoffs and shifting the majority of the accounting responsibilities offshore by 2026.

From my experience, communication around these changes was not consistent with how events ultimately unfolded. This created a noticeable loss of trust across the team.

As headcount is reduced, remaining employees are expected to oversee more offshore workstreams. In practice, this often leads to increased workload, significant review requirements, and ongoing coordination challenges to maintain quality.  Management strongly suggests often of the accounting team to have Microsoft Teams calls with the offshore team starting at 8pm to help with communication.

I also experience frequent changes in direction and limited clarity around expectations. Even with strong effort, it could be difficult to feel aligned or confident in performance outcomes.

Culturally, the environment may feel more reactive than structured, with priorities shifting quickly and limited visibility into longer-term plans.

Bottom line: For accountants looking for consistent leadership, stability, and clear processes, this environment may be challenging. Ask detailed questions about team structure, offshore responsibilities, and how success is defined before accepting a role.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management has made the workspace very hostile. Punitive action is taken when employees ask questions. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is very toxic. We are asked to do things that only reflect the needs of management and not the needs of the patients we are caring for.   We were told in the beginning that this company was PROACTIVE rather than REACTIVE and that was proven to be untrue within a couple weeks after training ended. We were also hired as a "remote" worker and that is no longer true. We are now heading toward a hybrid or on-site model completely. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Calling patients, attending pointless meetings that get nothing accomplished, meeting metrics regardless of whether you are doing quality patient care.  Metrics and money is all this company cares about. 

I have been in healthcare for many years and this is the most horribly managed company I have ever worked for. They have no regard for the patients or their employees.  

They don't listen  to the frontline employees at all. They ignore what the providers want/need and they most definitely don't care about quality patient care. 

It is disheartening and disappointing as this company has the potential to really do a good job for patients. 

At the end of the day, I would absolutely not recommend becoming an employee of Panoramic Health. The toxicity of this environment is too much.  And you cannot ask questions without facing punitive action.

While the company has a admirable vision, it is so poorly executed that both the employees and the patients suffer. Management is constantly changing work definitions and scope, and does not ask for, nor are they open to, feedback from the employees on how those changes may be difficult to put into action or may be detrimental to patient care. Projects are released before they have been completely thought through, which results in chaos, and some of those in management appear to lack the experience and skills to effectively guide the company. Upper management seems to function in an echo chamber in which they appear unable to be critical of each other or their poor ideas. 

The company just restructured, which resulted in mass layoffs.  The employees who remain were encouraged to practice outside their scope, and outside the states they are licensed in.  Any hole in coverage is assumed to be covered by the RNs, who are already overburdened and asked to work outside their license. Staff continue to leave, which further burdens the employees that remain. 

The vision of the company is a good one but unfortunately poor management gets in the way of that mission. 

The concept is great- provide quality care and support for patients with CKD. However, the execution is horrendous. Workflows change frequently and communication from leadership down to that the actual healthcare workers is severely lacking. They basically need you to be a marketer and salesman because it feels like you’re constantly selling the company to patients and justifying to Drs why they should continue to use our services. In reality, the only thing this company wants is PAMs and PHQ9s and for us medical professionals to HARASS patients on a weekly basis despite these poor patients requesting to stop receiving our calls. The higher ups did a terrible job of explaining to the Drs what we do  and there’s no clear path for actually helping patients because when you have 4 disciplines calling 1 patient just to meet your metrics, patients block the calls! They are not upfront in interviews on what the job really is- if you’re an RN or MA you will be expected to travel to Drs offices 2-3 times a week for the entire work day-regardless of distance because they stopped paying mileage. You can’t trust management and they don’t like when employees voice concerns about the ever changing metrics and workflows. I do not recommend this company to anyone. 

IT senior management doenst have any experience in building software systems,micro Management, lack of empathy for sick employees ( you are called as missing in action for sickness), no direction on work priorities and clear approach, divisive culture in IT department, promoting people from past relationships, narcissist culture.  Product management team didnt build any products and failed to show any leadership in developing product and strategy. They portray as one and are agents of senior leadership team in policing people. Changes are done with no though process and change adaption.

Advice to CEO
Trust your employees to do their jobs, dont micro manage, show empathy for employees, dont fill roles with out having a clear need, create an inclusive culture and environment where employees feel safe and contribute to success
have systems thinking while buidling software, be clear in work priorities. I hope CEO takes feedback and addresses the culture issues in IT. if not, great vision will be with poor IT leadership. Train your senior IT leadership to act like leaders and provide sage environment for people to work on

Pros: Decent pay and good benefits, WFH (although upper management waffles back-and-forth with returning to office)

Cons: Frequent layoffs, markets are consistently understaffed, constantly changing performance metrics and job responsibilities, extremely poor communication and leadership from upper management

This company had some potential, but unfortunately seems to be in a pretty constant identity crisis. Upper management changes priorities, performance metrics, and job responsibilites on a near weekly basis with very little in the way of training or communication. Due to this and other reasons, the company underwent three large rounds of layoffs during my time with them. Upper management is also very metric driven, despite being very indecisive on which metrics they judge performance on (one week it's numbers of workflows open, the next time spent with patients, the next it'll be the number of patients you spoke with) Working with the patients and the large majority of front-line workers and low/mid level managers were great.

The salary is the best part of working for this company.  

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Problem solving tunnel vision is a barrier.  New ideas are not welcome and seen as wrong.  Education only occurs to correct deviations from current workflow.  There is no big picture process improvement analysis.  Corrections only occured reactively not proactively. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is stressful.  Management performs humanistic action to check a box.   There is dishonest behavior between management to get ahead.  Executive Leadership is condescending if they do not understand a process or communication.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Review of emails to respond to priority communications.  Constant reprioritizing projects and task due to the company being reactive.  This also caused dialy redirection and education of staff to work on the new days focus.

Limited structure (new company with developing policies and procedures, started October 2021)
Minimal Training.
I found myself working after hours just to avoid management’s pressure on performance. 
No over time pay.
I felt my Ambition and Confidence were taken down. 
Communication was lacking, document all conversations. 

Job Security, this is a company whose policy will take you out for any reason or no reason.  People disappeared only to find out that they lost their positions due to (Position Eliminated/Terminated) 

The company has a way of making you feel you will make a positive difference.
The execution, tools, resources, and support is not there.

Also, the amount you may work from home versus you may work remote can vary. Depending on what “number” they are pushing that day/week.  It’s like a call center environment but for medical, it does not work. 

Individuals would receive management positions without notifying staff of available positions, it appeared they were “given” the positions.

There was never a moment that I did not enjoy working for Panoramic Health

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The patient that call in after having experienced a death in the family.  The frustration of not being able to locate the correct insurance to apply to a claim

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It was friendly, the associates were almost like family

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I log in to the phones to get inbound calls.  The patient are at time upset that they have received a bigger than normal bill, not realizing that the insurance was either not applied to the claim or the correct package was not applied.  At times you had to contact the patient back after researching the issue that has come up.  With Outbound, you work with excel sheets to contact the patients and try to obtain whatever necessary information that is required to close the their acct
