Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Baker Production team member to join our vibrant bakery operation. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating high-quality baked goods, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining an efficient production environment. Your enthusiasm for baking and food preparation will help deliver delicious products that delight our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cakes, cookies, pies and other confections, following established recipes and quality standards
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and pastry tools safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines throughout the shift
Assist in food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, assembling components, and portioning products for high-volume production
Follow all food handling procedures diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards

Requirements

Proven experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation within a commercial kitchen or bakery environment
Strong knife skills and proficiency in pastry techniques and cake decorating methods
Knowledge of food safety management practices and ability to adhere strictly to hygiene standards
Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean workspace, able to lift 50lbs.
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and following recipes precisely
Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work quickly in a high-volume setting.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
