Full Job Description

Position Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily warehouse operations to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, production, inventory control, and distribution of products. This role leads warehouse staff, maintains accurate inventory records, ensures compliance with safety regulations, and drives continuous improvement in warehouse productivity, production and quality. The Warehouse Manager works closely and communicates effectively and quickly with purchasing, customer service and accounting. They directly oversee all purchasing and receiving, inventory management, production and shipping teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, production, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate warehouse employees to ensure high performance and accountability.
Develop work schedules and assign tasks to maximize productivity and meet operational deadlines.
Ensure accurate inventory management through cycle counts, physical inventories, and warehouse management systems (Odoo).
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with purchasing and production departments.
Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and on time.
Maintain warehouse organization and optimize storage layouts for maximum efficiency.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections and promote a safe working environment.
Monitor warehouse equipment, including forklifts and material handling equipment, and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
Analyze warehouse performance metrics and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Investigate inventory discrepancies, shipping errors, and operational issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Maintain accurate operational records and prepare reports for management.
Maintain or improve current systems and processes. Develop new ones where necessary.
Complete Symphony production and assembly production process flow.
Develop SOP’s or refine existing SOP’s.
Collaborate with other departments to support customer satisfaction and achieve company goals.
Develop warehouse operating budget
Manage warehouse supplies and operating expenses within budget.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3–5 years of warehouse operations experience, including supervisory or management experience.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, production processes, inventory control, shipping, and receiving procedures.
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)), inventory software, and Microsoft Office applications.
Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
Valid driver's license preferred.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.

Work Environment

This position operates in a warehouse environment where exposure to moving equipment, machinery, varying temperatures, and moderate noise levels is common. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when applicable.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
