Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. This pivotal role involves managing the front desk operations of our dental practice, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in a dental practice and health information management, with a focus on efficient documentation and patient interaction.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying insurance information and collecting payments.
Assist with dental collections by following up on outstanding balances and coordinating payment plans.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, including dental coding for billing purposes.
Utilize Dentrix to schedule appointments, manage patient inquiries, and maintain organized records.
Support the overall efficiency of the practice by performing additional administrative tasks as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental practice setting is preferred, with familiarity in dental coding and health information management.
Proficiency in documentation review and management of dental records is essential.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of the role.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
