Full Job Description

Position Overview

Glowtox Aesthetics is seeking an experienced Aesthetic Nurse Injector (RN or NP) to join our growing medical aesthetics team in Pacific Beach and/or Solana Beach.

We are looking for an injector with at least two years of hands-on experience independently administering cosmetic injectables, including neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, etc.) and dermal fillers. This is not an entry-level injector position; prior independent injecting experience is required.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills and aesthetic judgment with an ability to conduct comprehensive consultations, develop personalized treatment plans, build lasting patient relationships, and grow a loyal patient base.

This position offers a flexible schedule with the opportunity to grow hours as your patient book and demand increase.

Key Responsibilities

Independently perform aesthetic injectable treatments, including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and other non-surgical facial rejuvenation procedures.
Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and create individualized treatment plans based on facial anatomy, aesthetic goals, medical history, and appropriate treatment options.
Deliver consistent, natural-looking results while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care.
Build strong, long-term patient relationships that encourage retention, referrals, and appropriate treatment continuity.
Educate patients regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, post-treatment care, potential side effects, and follow-up recommendations.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and treatment records.
Collaborate with our medical director, lead injector, and clinical team to maintain consistent standards of care across both Glowtox locations.
Maintain all applicable medical, safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
Stay current on advanced injection techniques, facial anatomy, products, and aesthetic medicine best practices through continuing education.

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted RN or NP license in California.
Minimum of two years of hands-on experience independently administering cosmetic injectables required.
Demonstrated experience with neuromodulators and dermal fillers.
Strong understanding of facial anatomy, patient assessment, treatment planning, and injection safety.
Proven ability to deliver consistent, natural-looking aesthetic outcomes.
Strong consultation skills and ability to confidently recommend appropriate treatment plans without creating a high-pressure patient experience.
Ability to develop patient loyalty, retention, and referrals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong aesthetic judgment and attention to detail.
Professional, dependable, collaborative, and team-oriented.
