Pediatric Dental Patient Coordinator M-FRIDAY

At Pediatric Dentistry of the Rockies, we specialize in providing exceptional pediatric dental care in a friendly and welcoming environment. Our practice is dedicated to creating positive experiences for children and their families. We are currently seeking an organized, compassionate, and experienced Patient Coordinator to join our team.

Job Description:

The Pediatric Patient Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth visit for our patients . This individual will be responsible for coordinating patient scheduling, handling billing and insurance, and providing top-notch customer service to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage appointment scheduling, patient check-ins, and follow-ups.

Verify dental insurance, submit claims, and handle billing inquiries.

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure a positive experience.

Coordinate between dental staff, including pediatric dentists, hygienists, and assistants.

Handle phone inquiries, emails, and patient communications with professionalism and empathy.

Work as a team with the mindset of collaboration.

Follow systems and office policies.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental office (experience in pediatric dental settings preferred).

Proficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar).

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of dental insurance processes and billing.

A compassionate and patient approach, especially when working with children and families.
