Sales Operations Manager

Location: Plano, TX

Department: Sales

Reports To: Vice President of Sales

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

Thesis Pharmacy is seeking a strategic, analytical Sales Operations Manager to optimize and scale our sales infrastructure. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this role is responsible for driving the efficiency, accuracy, and performance of our sales operations through Salesforce, pharmacy compounding software, reporting, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with business acumen to improve sales productivity, maintain data integrity, and support organizational growth while serving as a key partner to Sales, Marketing, Pharmacy Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Operations

Manage and optimize Salesforce, pharmacy compounding software, and the sales technology stack.
Develop and maintain scalable sales processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
Partner with leadership to align sales operations with business objectives.
Ensure consistent adoption of sales processes across the organization.

Salesforce & CRM Management

Serve as the primary Salesforce administrator and business owner.
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, workflows, automations, and data governance standards.
Partner with internal teams and vendors to enhance CRM functionality and user adoption.
Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements.
Support CRM training and user enablement.

Reporting & Analytics

Maintain accurate sales data and reporting.
Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, and forecasting models.
Analyze sales performance and provide actionable insights.
Track pipeline health, customer engagement, and revenue metrics.

Sales Enablement

Support onboarding and training for new sales team members.
Develop tools and reporting that improve sales productivity.
Assist with territory planning, account assignments, and performance initiatives.
Recommend automation opportunities that reduce administrative work.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Marketing, Pharmacy Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership to improve communication, reporting, forecasting, and workflow alignment.

First Six Months

Within the first six months, the Sales Operations Manager will:

Improve Salesforce data accuracy, governance, reporting, and executive dashboards.
Optimize Salesforce workflows, automations, and pharmacy software integrations.
Standardize scalable sales processes and onboarding documentation.
Increase sales productivity through reporting, automation, and workflow improvements.
Strengthen collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Pharmacy Operations, and Finance.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Sales, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, CRM Administration, or Business Operations.
Experience managing Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Strong analytical, reporting, forecasting, and project management skills.
Experience building dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

Salesforce Administrator Certification or equivalent Salesforce expertise.
Experience implementing, optimizing, or managing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, or healthcare CRM integrations.
Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, pharmacy management, compounding software, marketing automation platforms, or other healthcare technology systems.
Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, pharmacy, compounding pharmacy, or healthcare technology environments.
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, healthcare regulations, and data governance.
Experience supporting rapidly growing sales organizations and leading CRM adoption initiatives.
