Full Job Description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Construction Superintendent in Brighton, MI for a direct hire opportunity with our client. As a trusted partner in the construction industry, we connect top talent with top companies across the United States.

Job Type: Direct Placement
Pay: $100,000 to $130,000 Per Hour BOE

Responsibilities:

Lead all on-site construction activities from sitework through closeout.
Establish and manage site logistics, sequencing, and manpower planning.
Maintain and execute the 3-Week Look-Ahead Schedule.
Anticipate and resolve constructability, coordination, and schedule issues.
Direct subcontractors to meet schedule, quality, and safety expectations.
Conduct effective subcontractor coordination and planning meetings
Owns jobsite execution, safety, quality, sequencing, and subcontractor performance, and serves as primary on-site leader

Qualifications:

MUST have 3+ yrs experience as a Construction Superintendent with a commercial General Contractor
MUST have commercial ground up build experience from $5MM-$25MM.
Ability to manage 15-20 subcontractors throughout the project
Proficient with Microsoft Teams as the primary platform for all field documentation, including daily reports, photos, field notes, and coordination items
Need OSHA 30
Certified Storm Water Management Operator Cert is a plus, but not required (company can train)

Physical Requirements:

Must be aware of OSHA safety standards
Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises
May need to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders.
Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending
May need to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.

Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 Per Hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
