Job Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Restaurant Server/Bartender, where you will be the heart of the guest experience! In this lively role, you’ll deliver exceptional service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Your expertise in food and drink service, combined with your energetic personality, will ensure every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience
Manage cash transactions accurately, process sales via POS systems, and handle cash safely
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, bar, and service stations
Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and food industry trends
Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring satisfaction

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations
Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and food safety standards
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
Experience with fine dining or hospitality settings is highly desirable
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and processing sales transactions smoothly
Knowledge of sanitation practices and food handling regulations in the food industry
Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is a plus for supporting overall restaurant operations
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest experiences
Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment
