Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, hospitality, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system.
Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance the guest experience.
Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction.
Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to guests.
Monitor tables for guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any needs or requests.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience preferred, particularly in fine dining or upscale environments.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
