Full Job Description

BCBA – Play Based ABA Therapy

At FTC – ABA and Behavioral Therapy, we do ABA differently.

Our focus is helping children and families build independence, confidence, and real-life skills that last through compassionate, creative, and individualized therapy.

We are looking for a BCBA who wants to be involved in their clients' care, build strong relationships with families, and work with a team of technicians they know and trust.

If you enjoy having a voice in how your cases are run and want the freedom to practice impactful ABA without being tied to a rigid model, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Provide individualized ABA services for children, teens, and young adults in clinic, home, and community settings.
Develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on each client's individual needs and progress.
Conduct assessments and use data to guide clinical decision-making.
Provide ongoing clinical supervision, support, and feedback to Behavior Technicians.
Build strong working relationships with your clients, families, and technicians.
Schedule and coordinate your own team of technicians based on client needs, staff availability, and treatment schedules.
Get to know your clients and your team well enough to make thoughtful decisions about which staff are the best fit for each client.
Match staff to clients based on personality, strengths, skill set, interests, and clinical needs to help create strong and effective working relationships.
Train and mentor technicians so they feel confident implementing treatment programs.
Provide caregiver training and support to help families carry skills into everyday life.
Monitor client progress and make changes to programming when needed.
Collaborate with families, schools, and other members of a client's care team when appropriate.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development.
Step in to provide direct clinical support when needed.

What We're Looking For

Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
Current Wisconsin BCBA licensure or eligibility for Wisconsin licensure
Currently credentialing with Forward Health and Private insurance providers strongly preferred.
Experience working with children, teens, and/or young adults
Strong understanding of evidence-based ABA practices
Experience developing and modifying individualized treatment plans
Strong clinical judgment and data analysis skills
Ability to effectively supervise, train, and mentor Behavior Technicians
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable working independently while being part of a collaborative team
A genuine interest in building relationships with clients, families, and staff
Reliable transportation for services provided outside of the clinic when needed

Physical Requirements

This position may involve:

Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and sitting on the floor
Participating in active, play-based therapy sessions
Moving between different environments throughout the day
Occasionally lifting or assisting with materials or equipment up to 50 pounds
Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors, elopement, or aggression when necessary
Getting up and down from the floor
Working in an active environment where client needs can change quickly
