Full Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive full-time Recruiter to join our growing multi-location retina practice. This position is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment for all Retina Group of Florida (RGF) locations across the East and West Coasts of South Florida. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for a wide range of positions across the organization. The ideal candidate is resourceful, organized, and passionate about identifying and attracting top talent while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.

In addition to recruiting, this individual will assist with onboarding new employees and work closely with hiring managers to support the organization's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, offer negotiations, and hiring.
Identify candidates that align with the company’s culture and values.
Recruit for a variety of positions, including: Clinical staff (Ophthalmic Technicians, Scribes, Photographers), Revenue Cycle Management (Billers, Insurance Coordinator, Patient Access), Patient Coordinators, Clinical Research Staff (Coordinators, Assistants), and Administrative positions
Develop proactive recruiting strategies to build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Partner with HR Director and department managers across multiple locations to understand staffing requirements and hiring priorities.
Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
Coordinate interviews and manage recruitment timelines to ensure timely hiring.

Sourcing & Employer Branding

Utilize multiple recruiting platforms and sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, healthcare-specific job boards, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Build and maintain relationships with colleges, professional organizations, and industry networks.
Attend career fairs, networking events, and recruitment initiatives when appropriate.
Promote the organization's culture and employer brand to attract high-quality candidates.

Onboarding

Coordinate pre-employment processes through multiple online platforms, including background checks, drug screening, and required documentation.
Assist with onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
Collaborate with department managers to ensure all onboarding requirements are completed.

Reporting & Compliance

Maintain accurate recruitment records within the ATS and HR systems.
Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, candidate sources, and hiring outcomes.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and organizational policies.
Maintaining confidentiality of candidates, salaries and organization growth strategies.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare or a multi-site medical practice.
Experience recruiting for a wide range of positions, including clinical, administrative, RCM, front office, and research roles.
Experience using multiple recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and applicant tracking systems.
Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple open positions simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.

Preferred

Experience recruiting within ophthalmology, retina, or other specialty medical practices.
HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent) is a plus.
