Full Job Description

AP/AR Bookkeeper

The AP/AR bookkeeper will provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment and receivables of invoices under his or her control. This person will be responsible for handling the processing and payment of vendor invoices and expense reimbursements. They will be managing the AP/AR inbox, communicating with vendors, getting invoices approved, ensuring on-time payments as well as collections and working cohesively with our bookkeeping team. The successful candidate will need to be computer literate, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Sage/Peachtree.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Review internal documents and match them with incoming invoices to make payments.
Manage receipts and approvals of invoices.
Communicate with vendors concerning issues with invoice payments and backups.
Update processing system with documents, notes, payments and any other needed information.
Utilize accounting skills to process payments.
Assume additional job-related tasks as requested by team leaders.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Accounting
Bachelor's (Preferred)
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in accounting field
Sage/Peachtree Proficiency
Computer Literate
Microsoft Proficiency (Particularly in Excel)
High attention to details.
Strong Analytical Skills
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work with a team.
Strong verbal, written and communication skills.
Strong organization skills.
Preferred skill: SAP knowledge

Education/Experience

Associate Degree in Accounting
Bachelor's (Preferred)
Minimum of 2years’ experience in accounting field

*Must be able to provide proper work authorization to be employed in the US.
