Full Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

Process and verify vendor invoices.
Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts.
Prepare and process weekly check runs.
Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies.
Track and manage payment due dates to ensure timely payments.

Accounts Receivable

Generate and distribute customer invoices.
Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balance.
Apply payments and reconcile customer accounts.
Work with internal teams to resolve billing issues.
Maintain accurate customer records and payment histories.

General Accounting Support

Assist with month-end close processes.
Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
Supports audits and reporting activities as needed.
Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures.
Assist with special projects and administrative accounting tasks.

Vendor & Customer Relations

Build and maintain positive relationships with vendor and customers.
Respond to payment and billing inquires in a timely manner.
Resolve discrepancies professionally and efficiently.
Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.

Qualifications:

2+ years of Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, or general accounting experience.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Experience with accounting software; ERP experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

· Experience in construction or related industries.

· Familiarity with job costing or project-based accounting.

Vendor invoices and customer payments are processed accurately and on time.
Accounts Payable and Account Receivable functions operate efficiently with minimal errors.
Financial records remain organized, accurate, and up to date.
Vendor and customer receive professional and responsive service.
Billing and payment issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
You demonstrate reliability, accountability, and attention to detail in all aspects of your work.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
