What You'll Do

As a Staff Accountant, you'll play an important role in helping clients achieve their financial goals while developing your own expertise in public accounting.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing individual, fiduciary, and business tax returns
Assisting clients with bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting
Supporting tax planning and business advisory projects
Working directly with clients to gather information and provide exceptional service
Collaborating with firm partners and team members on client engagements
Managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
Identifying opportunities to improve client processes and add value

This position offers excellent exposure to both tax compliance and business consulting, making it ideal for someone who wants to become a trusted advisor rather than just prepare returns.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA, EA, or actively pursuing CPA/EA certification
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage confidential information professionally

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of public accounting, tax, or related accounting experience
Experience preparing individual and business tax returns
Familiarity with QuickBooks and/or Thomson Reuters UltraTax
A desire to build long-term client relationships and grow within a public accounting firm
