Full Job Description

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Salesperson to manage both vehicle sales and financing processes at Eighth Street Auto, Inc. This is more than a sales role as you get to know buyers by learning about their needs / wants to get them in a vehicle that is in their budget. This role requires strong sales ability, financial knowledge and a customer - focused approach to guide buyers from initial vehicle selection through financing and final delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Responsibilities

Welcome buyers and learn about their automobile needs and budget
Present vehicle features, benefits, and vehicle history reports; answer all question after test drive
Conduct test drives and negotiate pricing and trade-in values
Follow up with customers to build repeat and referral business
Reach out to new prospects through a variety of channels

Finance & Insurance (F&I) Responsibilities

Explain and secure financing options, including prime, and subprime lending
Work with lenders to obtain approvals and structure deals
Present and sell F&I products such as GAP and service contracts
Accurately complete credit applications, contracts, and title paperwork
Ensure compliance with federal, state and dealership regulations
Maintain proper documentation for audits and funding

Qualifications & Skills

Automotive sales or finance experience preferred (used car experience a plus)
Energetic and outgoing 'people person' that is motivated to succeed
Strong negotiation, communication, and closing skills
Understanding of auto financing, credit, and lending processes
High attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork
Professional appearance and ethical sales approach
Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment

Must Have

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License with clean record
Must pass background check
Must be able to attain Motor Vehicle Sales Person License within two weeks

Job Types: Full-time, Commission

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
