Full Job Description

PlantShed is a Customer- focused company dedicated to providing top-noch support and service and we are looking for responsible individuals to work in the customer service department of our expanding company in the plant and flower industry. Applicant should be a positive and outgoing person, ideally with prior customer service experience with a warm and pleasant phone manner. This is a Tues-Saturday, or Sunday Through Thursday, 9-5 and or 10-6 position with some holiday needs. There is opportunity for overtime, although this is only required on major holidays such as Mother's Week or Valentine's Week—opportunity for advancement.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Job Description

PlantShed is a customer-focused company dedicated to delivering top-notch service and support. We are seeking responsible, positive, and outgoing individuals to join our growing customer service team in the plant and floral industry.

The ideal candidate will have prior customer service experience and a warm, professional phone presence.

This position follows a Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday schedule, with shifts from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM or 10:00 AM–6:00 PM. Some holiday availability is required. Overtime opportunities may be available during peak seasons such as Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day. There is also strong potential for growth and advancement within the company.

Essential Job Functions

Create a welcoming and positive experience for customers, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated
Answer customer inquiries about products both in-store and online
Respond to Customer Service emails as needed
Handle incoming calls and resolve concerns with professionalism and diplomacy
Operate and learn the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions
Maintain knowledge of products and provide recommendations to customers

Qualifications

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent multitasking abilities
Team-oriented mindset
Availability to work weekends and some holidays
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Quick learner

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of plants and flowers
Bilingual skills

Experience

Customer service or hospitality experience preferred
Inbound call center experience a plus
Administrative or retail/sales experience beneficial
Experience with Virtual Call Center is a plus!
