Full Job Description

We're looking for a hands-on leader who thinks strategically, moves fast, and delivers consistent results. In this high-accountability role, you won't just manage the day-to-day—you will actively establish the processes and workflows needed to scale and lead from the floor. This position is onsite in Otay Mesa, San Diego, CA 92154.

What you’ll do:

Manage day-to-day warehouse operations: receiving, put-away, inventory control, order picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse staff; create schedules and assign tasks to meet service levels.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Monitor inventory accuracy and cycle counts; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Optimize workflows and layout to improve throughput, reduce costs, and minimize errors.
Manage relationships with carriers, and internal teams (sales, customer service, purchasing).
Establish & Track KPIs (order accuracy, on-time shipping, cycle count variance, picks per hour, dock-to-stock time) and report performance to CEO.
Participate in hiring, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and workforce planning.
Lead and mentor a team of warehouse associates, pickers and packer, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Must be able to:

Maximize team productivity by keeping the floor laser-focused on daily targets—actively eliminating distractions and unproductive downtime.
Build a high-performance culture by celebrating wins, developing your team's skills, and swiftly correcting behaviors or attitudes that drag down morale.
Represent leadership with absolute professionalism, presenting a positive, respectful, and united front to your team at all times.
Lead through example: calm in the chaos, obsessively solutions-driven, and fully invested in developing your people.

Basic qualifications:

Proven experience in warehouse management or 3PL
Experience with using WMS and small parcel shipping software.
Experience with shipping & receiving processes, and materials management.
Proven expertise with team building & management.
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written, at a professional level.
Technology savvy a must
Excel intermediate to advance a must
Client-centric mindset with a proactive approach
Enjoys working in a startup environment
Must have advance/professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Bilingual – Spanish a plus.
