Fitness Attendant

Location: 4017 State Rt 159 Smithton, IL

Hourly Rate: $15.00

Position Summary

The Fitness Attendant plays an important role in creating a positive experience for fitness center members and guests. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe facility, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the fitness center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service to fitness center members and guests.
Assist with new member registrations and orientation processes.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workout environment.
Clean fitness equipment and common areas according to established procedures.
Restock supplies and notify management of inventory needs.
Answer member questions and assist with general fitness center operations.
Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all members and visitors.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and facility policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Interest in health, fitness, and wellness.
Previous customer service, fitness, or recreational facility experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.
