Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our Growing culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, ensuring that high-quality dishes are prepared and presented according to our restaurant's standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. We also offer our kitchen staff weekly tips that can be from $1-$3/hour on top of your base pay. We are a growing restaurant looking for dedicated team members that are motivated to grow in our organization. We have many opportunities to advance into new positions and we are excited to work with like minded individuals

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Participate in catering events, preparing meals for off-site functions when required.
Provide support to dietary aides in meal preparation for special dietary needs.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Experience in fine dining or high-volume food service environments is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
Creativity in menu planning and meal preparation, with a passion for the food industry.
Experience in catering services is a plus, enhancing your versatility within the role.
