C.M. Armitage, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Service Electrician to join our service division. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys independent troubleshooting, bucket truck work, and customer-facing service, while still having the support of a stable, local company.

What You’ll Be Doing

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in commercial and industrial facilities
Perform overhead and site service work using bucket trucks and aerial lifts
Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and equipment
Work with single-phase and three-phase systems
Inspect and test components such as transformers, transfer switches, switchgear, and service entrances
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer manuals
Complete work orders and accurately record materials used
Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and supervisors
Follow all NEC, OSHA, and company safety procedures, including aerial lift safety

What We’re Looking For

Service electrician experience required
Bucket truck / aerial lift experience preferred
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Experience working independently at active customer sites
Solid understanding of commercial electrical systems
Professional communication and customer service skills
Dependable, organized, and safety-focused work habits

Licenses & Requirements

Valid NYS Driver’s License (required)

Job Details

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
Work Location: Multiple commercial job sites
