Full Job Description

Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to provide overall administrative responsibility for the daily operation of a federal and state contracted re-entry facility.
All activities support the Firetree, Ltd. mission, strategic goals, and objectives.

Reentry Centers (RRC) provide comprehensive community-based services for individuals who are in the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, The PA Department of Corrections or under the supervision of Probation and Parole Services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The position duties and responsibilities listed below describe the general nature and scope of work. Other responsibilities, duties and skills may be required and assigned, as needed.

Assure compliance with all referral contracts.
Provide direct oversight of Counselors/Case Managers, Program Monitors, Fiscal and Food Service.
Approve acceptance of facility referrals.
Provide public information and serve as community relations contact.
Develop positive lines of communication with staff as well as current and potential referral sources.
Responsible for personnel management of the facility staff.
Review the Policy and Procedure Manual on a quarterly basis and make recommendations to the Corporate Policy Committee as necessary.
Monitors safety, sanitation, and maintenance for mandatory compliance.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

A four-year degree in a social or behavioral science program from an accredited college or university, two years of work experience in a related field, and a minimum of two years in a supervisory position. Work experience may be substituted for academic studies exchanging one year of work experience in a related field for one year of academic education. Total work experience needed in lieu of the combination of education and work experience is six years, with two of the years in a supervisory position.

Technical Skills

To perform this job successfully, the employee should have strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook). Must have the ability to learn other computer software programs as required by assigned tasks.

To perform this job successfully, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position. The employee must be able to communicate via email and verbally via telephone. The employee must occasionally transport up to 25 pounds.
