Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while providing accurate information regarding room availability and hotel services.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, including billing information and special requests.
Assist with reservations via phone, email, or in-person while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
Provide local area information and recommendations to enhance guests' stay.
Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for both guests and staff.

Experience

Previous experience in hotel management or as a Front Desk Agent is preferred but not required.
Strong background in customer service or guest relations within the hospitality industry is essential.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with guests.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to remain calm under pressure is highly valued.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
