Stellar Automotive Group is the leading distributor of over 15,000 OEM and aftermarket transmission auto parts, custom build kits, and a remanufacturer of automotive transmissions in the United States, serving customers globally. Stellar also owns International Lubricants, a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialized synthetic lubricants for the automotive and other industries. Our 85,000 sq. ft. manufacturing and distribution facility in Seville, OH serves customers worldwide with high-quality products and solutions. We maintain longstanding relationships with leading retail and distribution networks in the automotive industry and are recognized for excellent customer service and on-time delivery.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations at our 85,000 sq. ft. facility, which includes parts distribution, fluid blending operations, and automotive transmission remanufacturing. This role will oversee a team of approximately 50 salaried and hourly associates and is responsible for driving operational excellence through strong leadership, systems implementation, and continuous process improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in plant or operations management within a complex manufacturing and distribution environment, along with the ability to leverage systems and data to improve efficiency, accuracy, and throughput.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all plant operations across distribution, fluid manufacturing, and remanufacturing functions.
Manage, coach, and develop a team of ~50 associates, ensuring clear communication, training, performance management, and engagement.
Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of warehouse and plant systems (WMS/ERP) and other technology tools to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows.
Establish, monitor, and drive key operational KPIs (productivity, quality, safety, on-time delivery) using data-driven decision-making.
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with supply chain, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless material and product flow.
Implement best practices in plant layout, inventory control, and material handling.
Oversee production scheduling, staffing, and shift planning to meet operational demands.
Ensure all equipment and facility infrastructure are maintained in optimal working condition.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Performance will be measured using a balanced set of operational, financial, and people-focused metrics, including:

On-Time & In-Full (OTIF) Order Fulfillment
Inventory Accuracy (target >98%)
Pick/Order Accuracy (≥99.5%)
Labor Productivity (output per labor hour)
Safety Performance (goal of zero recordable incidents)
Operational Efficiency Improvements (process, systems, layout)
